What the ASD is
Anyone can place an air mover. Applied Structural Drying teaches your techs to dry a structure deliberately — calculating the load, placing equipment to a plan, and proving the dry standard with data instead of guesswork.
ASD is the most hands-on class RTI runs. Students soak, map and dry real assemblies in our flood house, run live psychrometric drills, and learn to diagnose a stalled dry without restarting the clock — the skills that protect your margin on every water job.

Why take it
Certification isn’t a wall decoration. Here’s what the credential actually changes for your techs and your business.
Faster, validated dries mean fewer equipment days, fewer reslopes and a defensible drying plan that gets paid.
Diagnose why a structure isn’t hitting standard and adjust — without tearing out work or restarting the job clock.
GPP, vapor pressure and dehu load calculated live, so drying decisions are defensible to any adjuster.
ASD is the cert that separates a drying specialist from a tech who places fans — and unlocks higher-value assignments.
The outcome
Three days of live drying, and you leave able to plan, run and prove a structural dry to the standard.
Run psychrometry live
GPP, vapor pressure & dehumidifier load — calculated, not guessed
Place equipment to a plan
Air movers & dehus that hit dry standard faster
Diagnose stalled dries
Adjust the plan without restarting the clock

Working instructors
Every RTI instructor is an active tech, supervisor or estimator — so the answer to “what actually happens on site?” comes from this week’s jobs, not a textbook.
A live flood house
Our training environment gets soaked, mapped, dried and reset every week. Students place real equipment under a real job clock before they ever touch a customer’s floor.

Questions
Still have a question?
Student services can help with prerequisites, group rates, scheduling and licensing requirements in your state.
Contact student servicesDo I need the WRT before taking ASD?
Yes. Applied Structural Drying builds directly on water-restoration fundamentals, so an active WRT certification is required to enroll. If you need both, ask student services about our WRT + ASD combo week.
Is the IICRC exam fee included?
The IICRC ASD exam is administered on the final day, but the exam fee isn’t included in tuition — it’s a separate $80 fee paid directly to the IICRC.
How hands-on is this class?
Very. ASD is built around a live flood house: you’ll soak, map, dry and validate real assemblies under a job clock across the three days.
What should I bring?
Work clothes and closed-toe shoes. All PPE, meters, equipment and course materials are provided.

The Lever360 Platform
Lever360 is three products built around the same restoration job. Software runs the operation. Learning Lever trains the team. RTI certifies the trade. Use one. Use all three — they compound.
Software is one lever
Software runs the operation — every job, crew, dollar and conversation lives here. Add Learning Lever and RTI and the same techs ramp faster, bill higher, and stay longer. One lever moves the company. Three move it harder.
Learning Lever is one lever
Learning Lever onboards faster and keeps the whole team sharp. Software is where that training shows up in the work. RTI is where it becomes a credential customers trust. Pull one — pull all three and the math compounds.
RTI is one lever
RTI certifies the trade — IICRC WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT and beyond. Software runs the company those certified techs work for. Learning Lever ramps everyone in between. One lever moves things. Three move the whole crew.
